CONTRACT No NWWDA/T/CW/015/2020-2021

Ijara Water Supply Project is located in Masalani Trading Centre about 200 km South of Garissa County headquarters. The project’s main objective is to operationalize the conventional water treatment plant in Masalani Town and build a new standard intake pump house. The project is expected to serve 30,000 beneficiaries within Masalani town.

SCOPE OF WORKS (TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION)

a) Connecting various components of the 2000m3/Day Conventional Water Treatment Plant and operationalizing it.
b) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Raw and Treated Water Pumping sets
c) Testing and commissioning of 6km DN 250 uPVC grade 41 Sludge Disposal Line
d) Construction of a Modern Pump House at the Intake works station
e) Supply, Installation Testing and commissioning of Electrical Control Board
f) Construction of 3km DN 80 HDPE pipeline to Shurie and Yusuf Haji Secondary schools

 Project Commencement Date was 4th January, 2021 and the project was completed on January 2023
