Contract Name: Wamba Town Water Supply Project

Contract Period: November 2020-August 2021

Location: Wamba location, Samburu East Constituency Samburu County

The project entailed the laying of a gravity pipeline from the dam to the treatment plant near the town. The water treatment plant consists of a 20m3/ hr Composite Filtration Unit (CFU) and a 225m3 Ground Masonry Tank. From the treatment plant, the water gravitates to the existing distribution network within the town with a connection of 700 consumers and the newly laid 20km distribution lines within the town to the 100 consumers connected under the project. Additionally, 4 number water kiosks were constructed under the project as well.
