The borehole project serves the people of Naiborkeju Village located in Samburu West constituency Samburu County. The Project is complete and has improved access to safe water for the 3000 residents within the settlement. The project components included the drilling of a borehole, equipping, laying of pipeline to connect to elevated plastic tank, construction steel tank tower, water kiosk, fencing and installation Solar Pumping Unit. Drilling of the borehole commenced on 13^th September 2023 vide Contract No. NWWDA/T/CW/007/2022-2023 and was completed on 17^th September 2023. The test pumping was completed on 20^th September, 2023, and the borehole had a yield of 5.5m³/ hr. All equipping and construction work Completed on  11^th December, 2023.
